- 经典结肠特异性致癌物，用于诱导小鼠结直肠肿瘤模型。文献报道给药方案包括：单次腹腔注射10 mg/kg或12 mg/kg，或单次皮下注射10 mg/kg，常与DSS（葡聚糖硫酸钠）联合应用（AOM/DSS模型）；亦可单独多次给药（10 mg/kg腹腔注射，每周一次，共6周）建立AOM单独模型。AOM经肝脏代谢活化后在结肠上皮诱导DNA烷基化损伤，促进结肠肿瘤发生。
